Have you come up with the ideas for Father’s Day celebration? We share with you the recipes of delicious dishes you can rejoice your dad with and express your love to him.
– a piece of any red fish fillet the size of a palm,
– 0.5kg of potatoes,
– 1 large onion,
– 1 large carrot,
– 2-3 tomatoes,
– 0.5l of 10% cream,
– vegetable oil,
– and some black ground pepper.
Chop finely the onion, place it in a pan with vegetable oil and fry. Grate the carrot and add it to the onion. Peel the tomatoes, cut them into small pieces and add them to the onion and the carrot. Simmer all the ingredients for 10 minutes.
Place then the vegetables into a saucepan, add 1-1.5 liters of water and bring to a boil. Add the finely chopped potatoes to the soup, add some salt and pepper, and cook for about 10 minutes until half cooked.
Cut the fish fillets into small pieces and put them into the soup. Pour the cream, bring the soup to a boil and cook it for another 10 minutes until cooked. If the soup is too thick, you can add some boiling water, salt and pepper if necessary.
Serve the soup with chopped herbs.
If you are cooking soup with an oily fish, you don’t need to fry vegetables in oil, but use them fresh.
Pork with mushrooms in a creamy sauce
You can add either pasta, rice, or boiled potatoes as a garnish to this dish.
– a piece of lean pork (300-400 g),
– 100g of mushrooms (frozen),
– 1 small onion,
– 1 medium carrot,
– 2-3 cloves of garlic,
– 3 full spoons of cream cheese,
– 0.5 teaspoon of sugar,
– 2-3 spoons of vegetable oil,
– a pinch of khmeli suneli,
– parsley and dill greens,
– salt and black ground pepper.
Cut all the ingredients that can be cut into small cubes. Fry the pork in the saucepan, add the mushrooms, pour half a glass of water and simmer about 30 minutes. Fry both the onion and the carrot with the sugar in a pan and add them to the meat with the mushrooms. Also add garlic, khmeli suneli, cream cheese, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil and remove from the heat. Place finely chopped herbs.
You can cook the dish with some lamb, beef and veal, as well as poultry meat. It will be no less delicious.
Cottage cheese pie
Most men love sweet, so you can’t do without a dessert. You can cook this one to rejoice your dad even more and make Father’s Day special.
– 150g of biscuits “Digestive”,
– 120g of butter,
– 1kg of creme vanilla curd,
– 3 eggs,
– 200g of sugar,
– 150g of baking powder.
Grind the cookies and mix them with 75g of melted butter. Put the mixture into a baking dish.
Mix the creme vanilla curd with sugar and eggs. Pour the mixture into the baking dish and bake in the oven about 40 minutes at 145°.
Mix the baking powder with the remaining butter and place the mixture on the curd mass. Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
Serve the cooled cake with some raw berries jam or vanilla lemon cream.
