Early Child Development Program

    early child development

Early child development program is a set of complex activities for all round development of a baby, as well for his abilities and skills.

The program consists of four thematic blocks: horizons, language, logic, and creativity. Starting from 8-9 months of age already, you can use auxiliary materials for lessons with your child. This way you will diversify your baby’s leisure and will introduce him to new concepts and develop his new skills through play.

Expansion of child’s horizons is a very important task for parents while developing him up to a year of age. The baby cannot yet speak, but he understands and remembers many things. The information he receives within the first years of life (up to three years of age) is being stored in his memory for the rest of his life. Do not limit your child, try to show him as many things as possible, open this beautiful and unexplored world to him. Show your baby something interesting in the street and at home every day. Imagine if you were on another planet, you would be interested in everything – your baby is experiencing the same emotions. He learns a new world and you are his guide. Only on you are responsible for what will be the first your child will see in this world – a beautiful sun, the leaves on the trees, white snow, or something else, no one but you can teach him to enjoy such simple things, to appreciate their beauty. Download an examplary collection of colorful themed pictures to play with the baby, they will help you introduce him to the objects around him.

    Language development

The development of language can be easily sped up or slowed down by the behavior of close adults. It is important to talk with your child. He hears and perceives speech long before he starts speaking. Repeat all the sounds uttered by the baby. Talk to him in his language. Use a mirror to help your child understand his movements. Pronounce long vowels. When the child finds out that the sounds he utters are pleasant for others, he will say them more often, so show him your approval and joy. “Infect” the baby with your positive emotions, the rhythm of songs, nursery rhymes, play musical instruments and invite him to imitate your movements to the music.

Ideas about the surrounding world start developing in the early years of life. The collected experience is the basis for the first logical connections. We used to perceive our thinking as a natural process and forget that the child should be taught about it. It is very important not to give him ready knowledge but to develop mental abilities in him with the development of logic, and starting from 8-9 months of age, you can open the world of interrelation for him through play – draw his attention to the properties of objects, to compare items with each other, to teach him to classify them. These simple games develop watchfulness, concentration and thinking in the child.

    Children’s creativity

Creative activities are very important to for the child’s development. They develop fine motor skills of the baby, thereby contributing to the development of speech. They promote emotional development, develop his imagination. When painting with the fingers and palms, touching plasticine, he gets a new experience, learns about the consequences of his actions.

Painting, modeling and applique activities with children under the age of one have a number of features. You have to remember that your baby is not yet able to focus for more than 2-3 minutes long. While working, he needs your supervision, support and encouragement. Praise your baby, enjoy his success, and express your interest in working with him. Emotional component of activities is very important at this age. To perform these activities you will need: plasticine, paints, a brush, a cup, felt-pens, pencils, an album (or white paper). Do choose bright and beautiful colors. Plasticine should be soft and sticky, brushes – easy to hold with a hand.
