    Maths Game

Counting to 10 is a simple maths game your baby will gladly play starting from 4-5 months of age. When your child is about 9 months old you can fix his skill of counting when playing the game One, Two, three, Four, Five.

Before you start playing and saying the rhyme practice counting to ten. You can either print or draw numbers on ten A4 sheets of paper and let your baby jump, crawl, dance etc. on them (of course with your help). The little one will hear you counting and visually remember the numbers.

Then learn the vocabulary from the rhyme: little and big, boys and girls, drive a car, take a dive in the bathroom, hens, fluffy, turn around.

    1 2 3 4 5
    5 little boys drive,
    6 7 8 9 10
    Ten big fluffy hens.
    1 2 3 4 5
5 little girls take a dive,
    6 7 8 9 10
let’s turn around and start again.
